THE "HYDRO+ (SLIDE)" CONVERSION

The "HYDRO+" (SLIDE) conversion is our newest design launched in April 2024 and is based from our popular HYDRO (Slide). This design includes a sleek curved horizontal tambour door with with curved overhead lockers and built using advanced edge banded 2mm ABS hot glued edging.

The conversion Incorporats either the 112cm sliding RIB FLUX seat or the 115cm VW California seat with a curved end unit, allowing the driver seat to completely swivel giving a comfortable 4 seater arrangement.  
We have designed this ultra sleek layout to provide a spacious practical layout with great aesthetics. The "HYDRO+" (SLIDE) is ideal fantastic for people with young families who want the children seated to the front of the van during journeys or for those individuals wanting a super flexible vehicle where maximum boot space is required. The "HYDRO+" (SLIDE) is ideal for transporting sports equipment of larger items which simply wouldn't fit into the traditional layout such as the "TRIDENT"

KOMBI VAN:

​The conversion price is based on a T5/T6 Kombi van with NORTHSHORE retaining your existing Kombi Set-up kit (Seats, Seat Belts, Floor brackets and rubber floor mat. ("Subject to condition")

If you decide not to part ex the kombi-set-up but require NORTHSHORE to remove the kombi set-up, a surcharge of £250 is added to the conversion price.

4 Birth:

"ELEVATING ROOF" - Do you require extra head height & sleeping space?

The addition of an elevating roof is typically the first and biggest decision to make after purchasing the base van. If you are seeking extra headroom for general day to day living/cooking or additional sleeping space then the upgrade to a 4 birth is essential. An elevating roof upgrade on a VW T5/6 Transporter will significantly transform and make your vehicle far more practical and spacious for living in. 

At Northshore we only fit German TUV approved roofs and for the last 5+ years we have installed various model roofs from the REIMO and SCA brands. These brands in our opinion are the market leading roof manufacturers which is why our conversion designs are based around.

ADDITIONAL UPGRADES

.During the initial consultation and design stage its worth considering and factoring in what additional upgrades you would like your van to have. If you have a wish list then we can discuss what upgrades will need to be done in the early stages of the build and which upgrades can be easily done at a later date

Anything which requires installing cables, such as dash cameras, reversing cameras, solar panels, rear speakers etc is best to be done in the initial stage 1 of the build to minimise any additional costs. In some cases it is possible to do a part install i.e. just run the wiring feeds so that they are installed and accessible for full upgrade in stage 2. I..e. making a van solar panel. ready. Where possible we will charge a fee for the part install which will be offset against the cost of the full installation and the remaining fee would be paid after the completed installation.

Most upgrades can be retrofitted, however in some cases the work involved for some upgrades may not be practical or cost effective If a van is already converted. We will always discuss with you what your aims and intentions are for the van long term, to ensure the most appropriate upgrades are completed. I.e. fitting a reverse camera or a full/part solar panel install is more important than fitting side bars or lowering springs in stage 1 as the styling accessories can be done in stage 2 without any additional work or more importantly additional costs!
