Northshore Custom Conversions Ltd is a small family business located in Stanley (Co Durham) and was founded in 2015 by brothers Steve & Mike Brown.
Having owned and converted various leisure vehicles over the past 25yrs, the decision to take a passion of ours and turn a hobby into a business by doing something we truly love "convert vans" was only natural.
Our vision in 2015 was to create a company which is recognised as one that offers genuine bespoke services and produces high quality conversions. Our product portfolio is based on quality and performance, we only use using market leading approved & tested products and deal direct with many leading manufacturers.
Bespoke is often an over-used word these days by some companies and they often just replicate and mass produce the same conversion over and over again. For our company "Bespoke" is very appropriate and this is evident in our company name "Northshore Custom Conversions" as not one of the many conversions we have completed to date has been the same as the last.
Over the past 9 yrs we have been continually developing our interior designs and layouts to perfect the highest quality and fit possible. Our approach to conversions is based from personally using them for 25yrs. We know what is practical and what works, but also what looks good too.. A great conversion is one that combines all of these factors. A campervan conversion is a serious, long term investment for most people so our aim is to ensure it's well built, reliable, quality and long lasting.
We have been investing time over the last 5 years to introduce 3D CAD modelling which we now use to assist and design our cabinets and help customers better visualise their layouts.
Following on from this we have invested and purchased our own 10x5 CNC machine, edge banding machine and 3d printer. This allows us to produce our bespoke cabinetry in-house producing the same high quality and accuracy as well as be more innovative and creative.
. We don't want to be the biggest conversion company out there, but in fact one of the best. We believe that by producing a creative, quality product, along with great customer care, the rest will take care of itself.
